Mrs. Katharine Franks Hellwig - Born in Germany November 28, 1825. To America when 17 years of age. Married in Philadelphia to George V. Hellwig and soon after came west. Lived in Van Buren Co. 43 years and since death of husband about 5 years ago lived with her only daughter, Emma. Besides Emma are 3 sons: George and Fred of Van Buren Co. and Harry of CA. On November 24 she would have been 85 years old. She died July 23, 1910. F-Hellwig Cemetery, Farmington.
