John Joshua Lineaweaver - Youngest son of John & Mary Lineaweaver was born November 4, 1844 in Londonderry Twp., Lebanon Co., PA. In 1847 he and his parents came on steamboat down the Ohio to Mississippi, then to Keokuk. From Keokuk had an ox team bring them up to Burlington where they stayed for a time, but same year to a farm near Bonaparte on Vernon Prairie. Married Vilinda Bradford January 24, 1871; 2 children: Leoti Vilinda and Amanda Harriet. Suffered stroke on September 4, 1906. Died April 15, 1909, age 64 years, 5 months, 11 days. Besides wife and daughters, leaves also his only sister, Mrs. Chas. Dings, Ottumwa and number of relatives. His parents and brothers having died before him, his brothers, Joab B. and George P., dying in 1905. F-Lorton/Harden Cemetery, Mt. Sterling.
