Haviland Stewart - Born in Harrison Co., KY November 11, 1837 and died Soldier's Hospital, Marshalltown, IA January 22, 1909, age 72 years, 2 months, 11 days. Enlisted on May 27, 1861 in Co. F. Second IA Inf. Discharged July 12, 1865 at Davenport, IA. Married Emma C. Mank July 18, 1866. Eight children: Delbert S. Stewart; Mrs. Lucy Grimm; Mrs. Clara Dobson; Mrs. Bertha Mahoney; and Carroll Stewart of Des Moines; Mrs. Pearl Jobe of St. Louis; Mrs. Bessie Iler of Greenfield and Mrs. Floy Smith of Bonaparte. F-Bonaparte Cemetery, Bonaparte.
