Mrs. Mary Leah Hornbaker - Died Bonaparte March 18, 1908, age 71 years, 2 months, 17 days. Mary Leah, daughter of B. R. and Elizabeth Hornbaker born Preble Co., IA January 1, 1837. In the year IA became a State, 1846, she with parents came to Vernon Twp. in IA. Married Jesse S. Meredith on February 7, 1856 which lasted 52 years. On farm until 14 years ago, then to Bonaparte. Three children, one son and 2 daughters: George, Luella and Bertha. Survived by husband, 3 children, 1 brother and 5 grandchildren. F- Bonaparte Cemetery
