Mrs. Elizabeth Davis Long - Daughter of Extine and Julia A. Davis was born Vernon Prairie, Van Buren Co. on September 3, 1848, the oldest of eleven children, 5 sons and 6 daughters, nine of whom are living. Married on December 8, 1868 to Jerome Long and had 5 children of whom Wallace, age 7, Clara Belle, age 6 months, Mary F., age about 6 months, preceded her in death. Mrs. Hattie Thomas of Iowa City and Elmer of Bonaparte are left with husband and 2 grandchildren. Died in 1908. F-Bonaparte Cemetery, Bonaparte.
