Mrs. Margaret Ellen Brown Brady - Wife of Alex Brady and daughter of Silas and Anna Brown was born in Marion Co., IA March 4, 1845 and died Keosauqua January 8, 1907 age 61 years, 10 months, 4 days. Married to Alexander Brady, Iowaville, Van Buren Co. on February 10, 1861, then to Keosauqua. Mother of 11 children, 4 sons and 7 daughters: Three of sons dying in infancy, while Ellsworth grew to be a young man when he died. Daughters: Mrs. (Laura) W. J. Streckling and Mrs. (Flora)) T. J. Moll of Keokuk; Mrs. Mary Gorman; Mrs. (Blanch) L. E. Whitney and Misses Jonanna Hallie and Hellen, all of Keosauqua. F-Purdom Cemetery, Keosauqua.
