Willis Delbert Moon, 74, son of William Talbott and Arminda Adeline Moon was born June 6, 1876 at Eight Mile Ohio, and died December 22, 1950. He was united in marriage to Gertrude Maude Bauch, June 9, 1897. To this union two children were born, Mrs, Virgil Moon Tatman, Milton and Paul A. Moon, Keokuk.
He is survived by his widow, two children, two grandchildren, three great grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Clara Moon Gilfillan, Bloomfield; Mrs. Pearl Moon Kick, Farmington; and Mrs. Addie Moon Stephenson, San Diego, California.
Mr. Moon was a member of the Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and Kaaba Shrine of Davenport. He moved with his parents to Milton in 1890, and spent the remainder of his life here. He was actively engaged as a car dealer and operated a general garage for many years.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Brown Funeral home in Milton with Rev.J.W. Darlington in charge.
Music was by John Holland, accompanied by Miss Patricia Holland. Pallbearers were Warren Carr, Charles F. Brady, Glen Lunsford, K. L. Brown, Earl Snodgrass and E. J. Andrews.
Interment was in the Milton Sunnyside Cemetery.
