Lemuel C. Cantril - Youngest son of E. E. and C. M. Cantril was born at Cantril July 31, 1876. To Mt. Sterling, thence to Bonaparte. Married May 22, 1898 to Miss Mary Bridge, Bonaparte. Resided at West Point for some time. Engaged handle mfg. with father and brother. Thence to AT & SF RR, Ft. Madison. Lem was one of 12 children; 2 brothers and 2 sisters preceded him. Wife, father and mother now of West Point; 4 sisters, Mrs. Rose Welburn, Cantril; Mrs. Allie Roberts, Kansas City, KS; Mrs. Hattie Farwell, West Middlesex, PA; Mrs. Kittle Demple, Des Moines, IA and 3 brothers: Jas E. of West Point; T. N. and J. T. of Ft Madison. Died February 15, 1905 at age 28 years, 6 months, 14 days.
