Mrs. Valeria Bell Keith Cresap - Born Auburn, NY on August 6, 1825. Came to Indiana with parents, then to Michigan, then to Iowa, Bonaparte in 1843. Married Charles Keith in 1848. Three children, 2 sons and 1 daughter. One son died in infancy. Her husband died in CA. Married Daniel H. Cresap June 1856; 4 children, 3 sons, 1 daughter. One son, Price died in infancy and daughter, Lou, at age 19. Survived by 4 children: Mrs. Ellen Sharp of Bonaparte; Wm. Keith of Wyoming, Robert N. and Daniel Cresap of Bonaparte. Also 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Also 1 brother, John H. Bell, of Jennings, KS and seven stepchildren: Mrs. Margaret Fisher; Mrs. Mary Wickard of Cumberland, MD; Johathan Cresap of Selma, IA; Richard Cresap of Koshkonony, MO; Oliver P. Cresap of Canyon City, OR; John H. Cresap and Mrs. Rachel Humphries of Bonaparte. Died at home of daughter, Mrs. S. H. Sharp August 15, 1904. Age 79 years, 9 days. Funeral August 17, 1904. F-Bonaparte Cemetery, Bonaparte.
