Mrs. Anna Rex Vale - Died at Vale, a resident of Harrisburg Twp 50 years. Born October 10, 1823 in PA. Married Jacob G. Vale in Jefferson Co, Ohio in 1846 and moved to Primrose, IA in 1850. In 1856 they removed to Harrisburg Twp. The husband died in 1874. Three children: Ex-Senator B. R. Vale and Mrs. A. J. Leffler of Harrisburg Twp. and Mrs. Martha M. Downie of Beaver Falls, PA. Jacob G. Vale represented Van Buren Co - Jeffersons State Senatorial district as did his son in later years, and was also People's party for governor a number of years ago.
