WILLIAM ROBINSON
OBITUARY SKETCH.

William Robinson was born September 1, 1839, in Clinton county, Ohio, and died at his home of cancer of the throat, January 1, 1904, aged sixty four years and four months.

The deceased was married February 26, 1866, to Unice Borden, who died March 10, 1881. To this union were born three sons and one daughter, viz: James M., Charles and Edward L., all living at or near Livingston, Montana, and Mrs. Mary Wiggins of Allerton, this state.

The deceased was married December 31, 1881, to Emma Fink who died June 3, 1887. To this union were born two children, one of which died in infancy; and Carlton, who was the only one of his children present at the time of his death.

The deceased was married February 26, 1892, to Kate Halfhill, who died March 10, 1894. He was again married November 19, 1896, to Emeline Alton, who with his five children and many friends are left to mourn his departure.

Mr. Robinson moved to Iowa with his parents in 1850, and settled near Farmington. He enlisted in Company D. 30th Regular Iowa Volunteers, Oct. 10, 1862, and was mustered out of the U. S service at Davenport July 14, 1865. He was a charter member of the Elias Ware G. A. R. Post of Bonaparte.

Brother Robinson was converted to Christ in 1875, under the preaching of Rev. Wm. Young, and died in the triumphs of the Christian faith. The funeral services were held in the Baptist church at Harrisburg, his pastor officiating. The interment was made in the Vale cemetery.
