OBITUARY
Miss Agnes Bethenod died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Jacob Simmons, Aug. 17, 1911, aged 29 years. She was born Feb. 5, 1882, on a farm near Farmington. She made her home with her grandmother for nine years and tenderly cared for her during her sickness, never tiring of doing her duty. After her grandmother's death she made her home with her uncles for two years, keeping house for them until the 26th of February, when she came to her mother's home sick with the grippe, and gradually grew worse until it was pronounced consumption and she was confined to her bed from then until the day of her death. Her patience and thoughtfulness of others during her sickness was very pronounced and she passed away very peacefully without a struggle, fully trusting in her Saviour. She leaves to mourn their loss her mother, stepfather, two brothers, one sister, two stepsisters and many relatives and friends.
The funeral was held at the Catholic church at 10 o'clock Monday morning, Father Ryan officiating.
