FLORUS WOODIN

Florus Woodin was born December 30, 1831, at Horington, Litchfield county, Connecticut, and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. H. Williamson, northeast of Ronaparte [sic-s/b Bonaparte], May 24, 1914, at 1 o'clock P. M., age eighty-two years four months and twenty-four days.

He was married Steptember [sic] 26, 1861. To this union eight children were born, five girls and three boys. Those living are Mrs. Kate Williamson of Bonaparte; Mrs. May Keasling of Ft. Madison; James Woodin of Cantril, and Mrs. Mina Watts of Miami Okla. His wife and two daughters and two sons gone before. He leaves to mourn one sister, Mrs. Cnytha [sic] Pollock, of Sterling, Kansas, and fifteen grandchildren.

His home was near Cantril, but for the past two years he has been living with his daughter, Mrs. Williamson.
