A telegram was received Tuesday noon of this week by Clayton Sherod, near Keosauqua, that R. W. Forbes died that morning of blood poison at his home at Saguache, Colo. Deceased was a son of Andrew Forbes and was born and grew to manhood in Van Buren county. He was a brother-in-law of Clayton Sherod, also of Mrs. Ed Syfert, near Birmingham, and these two left Tuesday evening for Saguache to attend the funeral. An obituary next week.
