James Forbes came up from the ranch Tuesday morning and announced the death of his father, Andrew Forbes an old resident of Saguache.

Mr. Forbes died at his son James’s home, Monday, Dec. 10, at 5 a. m. at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 10 days.

Three sons survive his departure, James E., Grover C. living here and Byron Forbes, who resides at Salt Lake City, Utah. Byron sent word he could not reach here in time for the funeral which was held Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church. Rev. H. E. Henderson officiating. Particulars next week.
