Margaret Cummings Weiher 1853-1906

Miss Margaret Cummings was born near Bonaparte Van Buren County on the 2nd day of January, 1853, and on the 28th day of September, 1875, she was united in marriage to William Weiher. To this union were born two sons, Charles and Robert.

She is a daughter of Robert and Sarah Cummings. Robert Cummings is a native of Ireland, and Sarah Cummings was born in Ohio.

She has been a kind and faithful wife and mother and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need of help. She has been in poor health for about two years.

She leaves to mourn her loss, an aged mother, her husband, two sons, six grandchildren, two brothers and one sister besides a host of other relatives and friends.

She departed this life on the 31st of May, 1906, being at the time of her death 53 years, four months, and twenty-nine days old. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Saturday in Story Chapel, Rev. Clark officiating.
