Verla Adell Cahill, 90, of Farmington, Iowa, passed away at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, June ii, 2006 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.

Born August 26, 1915 in Salem, Iowa, she was the daughter of Enos T. & Anna Dora Graham Brown. On May 23, 1936 at Jeffersonville, Indiana she married William Arthur Cahill. He preceded her in death on April 25, 1960. Survivors include three sons: Gary Cahill of Farmington, Terry (Ruthie) Cahill of Springfield, Ohio, and Ed (Sherry) Cahill of Boulder, Colorado, three daughters: Anna Lee Hope of Iowa City, Betty (Ron) Muntz of Tecumseh, Michigan, and Cynthia (Mark) Nitchals of Winterset, Iowa, fifteen grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother.

Verla was a member of the Farmington United Methodist Church, Farmington American Legion Auxiliary, and a member of the Greenglade Cemetery Association. She enjoyed playing cards and helping Family and friends. Verla was a 1933 graduate of Farmington High School.
