Mrs. C. R. McCrary

Lute Games, daughter of Eliza and George W. Games, was born Feb. 20, 1849, in Keosauqua, Iowa, and departed this life at Douds, Iowa, March 26, 1925, at the age of 76 years, 1 month and 8 days.

She was united in marriage to Curtis R. McCrary at Keosauqua Oct. 5, 1870. To this union four children were born: George G., Della, Mrs. Lena Bell and Mrs. Chloe Hall, the first two dying in infancy. The husband, two daughters and seven grandchildren are left to mourn their loss.

She united with the Christian church at Keosauqua in 1869 and was a faithful member until her death. She was a member of the order of Eastern Star of Douds.

Funeral services were held in Douds by Rev. G. W. Barber in the forenoon, Tuesday, March 31, and at the Christian church at Keosauqua at 2:30 in the afternoon by Rev. P. D. Holloway, a former Keosauqua pastor.
