Kelli Anne Shark, 16, of Amarillo, Texas died at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, 1989 the result of an automobile accident near Bentonsport, IA. She was born October 14, 1972 in Keokuk, the daughter of Ron and Diane Kerr Shark. She was a junior in Amarillo High School and a member of the Rolling Hills Saddle Club. Survivors include her father, Ron Shark of Keokuk; mother, Diane Eilers and stepfather Craig Eilers of Amarillo, Texas; brothers Travis Shark and Joshua Eilers and sister Jessica Eilers of Amarillo, TX.; stepsister Lori Scott of Keokuk; maternal grandmother Mrs. Dorothy (Leo) Meierotto, West Point, maternal great-grandmother Mrs. Dorothy (William) Kerr, Wayland, MO., paternal grandmother Anne Coovert of Keokuk and step-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. william Eilers and Minette Echele of St. Charles, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers. Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 7, 1989 at the Bonaparte Baptist Church with Bob Dodds officiating. Burial was in the Kerr Family plot in the Bonaparte Cemetery.
