Mrs. Anna LAUGHLIN, 88, longtime resident of Fairfield, died Sat. in Bonaparte. Her home in Fairfield was at 302½ W. Washington. Raymond Funeral Home. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery north of Douds.

Born in Jefferson County July 18, 1878, daughter of Samuel and Harriet LAUGHLIN CREEK. She was reared and educated in Van Buren County just north of Douds. Married Charles LAUGHLIN at Ottumwa in 1897. He preceded his wife in death.

Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Leo CHANNEL, Birmingham, and Mrs. Weltha CAUGHELL, Packwood. Preceded by husband, one son, two brothers and three sisters.
