This is handwritten but badly faded. Punctuation was added for ease of reading.

Nancy A. Brown was borned in Warren Co., Ill. August the 24th 1857, departed this vale of years December the 5th 1821, being 64 years (can't read) and (?) days of age. When but a small child she moved with her parents to Iowa where she has been a resident for many years. She was united in marriage to Silas Langford (can't read month and day) 1872. To this union were borned six children, Florence (can't read) to her reward at the age of 8 years, three infants with the father also preceded her in death.

She was married to Nathan Warner April 25, 1900. Besides her husband, her loss is mourned by one son, William E. Langford at home and one daughter Mrs. Mary E. Wilson of (N)uma, two brothers, William of (can' read), Cal. and (can't read) children Virgil (?) Langford of Ottumwa, (can't read), Gale Grace Velma and (can't read) of (N)uma besides a countless multitude of friends and other relatives.
