OBITUARY OF VACTOR HULL

Vactor Hull, son of Aaron and Hester Hull, was born February 25, 1861 and passed away at his home in Cantril, Iowa, Sunday, July 29, 1928, at the age of 67 years, 5 months and 4 days. He was united in marriage to Margaret Mills, December 17, 1882, who preceded him in death May 5, 1916. To this union were born six children, Lillian May of Bloomfield, Iowa; Edith W. Cavitt, Clyde and June Rose, of Los Angeles, Calif.; Frank J., who preceded his father in death January 23, 1923, and Bertie Ray, who passed away in infancy, besides four grandchildren, one brother, Charles C. Hull, and two sisters, Mrs. Etta Roberts, and Mrs. Elizabeth Roberts, all residing in Cantril, Iowa.

Vactor, as he was familiarly called, moved from his farm to Cantril, January 21, 1920, where he has resided ever since except for two years in Milton, Iowa. Thus we may add that his entire life has been spent in Van Buren county.

Mr. Hull was widely known for his honorable way of living, a true friend to the needy, honest in his dealings, always dependable and trustworthy, a kind father, a good neighbor, and will be greatly missed by a host of friends.

I would like to know more about his daughter Edith Hull who married Clyde Curtis Cavitt.
