McElderry-Young.

Dr. C. A. McElderry and Miss Mae Young stole a march on their many friends here last night when they were united in marriage at the Presbyterian parsonage by Rev. W. W. Montgomery. The ceremony occurred at seven o'clock and only the necessary witnesses were present.

Immediately at the conclusion of the ceremony Dr. and Mrs. McElderry departed at once for the home of the brides parents. Mr. and Mrs. John L. Young on South Fourth street where a wedding supper awaited them.

The bride is a well known young woman of this city. She is [a] member of the Fairfield high school class of 1910. For several months past she has been engaged as bookkeeper and cashier for J. F. Roth and Co. That their cashier had changed her name was not known to Mr. Roth and the employees of the store until a representative of the Journal went into the store and congratulated the bride.

Mr. McElderry is a well-known Fairfield young man. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John R. McElderry of South Main street. He is one of the popular young men of the city and has many friends. Mr. and Mrs. McElderry will make their home on South Main street. - Fairfield Journal.
