Be it remembered, that I, Levi Davis of Farmington, Iowa, age 83 yrs., do make this my Last Will and Testament in the following manner.

I order and direct that all my just debts shall be paid with convenient speed.

I give and bequeath unto my wife Lucretia S. Davis all my real and personal property of what soever kind and discription during her natural lifetime provided she outlives me.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Border the sum of eleven hundred dollars.

I give and bequeath unto my son Caleb Davis the sum of one thousand dollars.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah A. Davis the sum of six hundred dollars.

I give and bequeath unto my son Dellison Davis the sum of twelve hundred dollars.

I give and bequeath unto my son Oliver Davis the sum of twelve hundred dollars.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mattie Davis the sum of six hundred dollars.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Alice Barton the sum of fourteen hundred dollars.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Maggie McGowen the sum of thirteen hundred dollars.

I give and bequeath unto my daughters Elizabeth Border, Sarah A. Davis, and Mattie Davis my homestead in which I now live in Farmington, Iowa, provided that they shall pay to Caleb Davis, Dellison Davis, Oliver Davis, Alice Barton, Maggie McGowen the sum of one thousand dollars.

I give and bequeath unto all my eight children above named, equally the residue of all my real and personal property if there be any left after the above bequests have been paid. I hereby nominate and appoint Elsie Barton, and Oliver Davis to be the executors of this my last Will and Testament and that they shall not be required to give any bonds whatever.

In testimony whereof, I hereinto set my hand and seal, and publish and decree this to be my last will and testament, in presence of the witnesses named below, this 4th day of September, in the year of our Lord, 1902.

Signed, sealed, declared and published by the said Levi Davis as and for his last will and testament, in presence of us, who at his request and in his presence, and in presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto.
