John Weatherington has been very sick, and John C. Edmundson shows but little improvement since last week.

No new cases of small pox near Troy, and the excitement talk about it is dying out.

We had an exceedingly heavy rain on the 12th, 13th, which put Fox River up to high water mark. Hail several inches in depth, and large as hickory nuts, we understand fell at Troy on the 12th.
