PUBLIC SALE

I [Charlie Murphy] will sell at public Auction on the Alonzo Cox farm 1 1/2 miles southwest of Keosauqua and 8 1/2 miles northeast of Cantril on: TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 1916.

Commencing at 1:30 o'clock p.m., the following property to-wit:

60 acre farm for sale with good building and 10x24 silo if not sold before day of sale.

3 Head of Horses -- One black mare weight 1450 lbs., 23 yrs. old; bay gelding 2 yrs. old; sound, black mare colt 1 yr. old.

5 Head of Cattle -- Four Jersy cows, two 4 yrs. old, one 3 yrs. old, 1 aged cow. These cows are all giving milk, 1 yearling Jersey steer.

Farm Machinery, Hay, Etc. -- Wagon, spring wagon, breaking plow, steel harrow, disc harrow, corn planter, cultivator, end gate seeder, hay ladder, set work harness, Deering mower, Economy Chief cream separator almost new and other articles too numerous to mention. About 6 tons good clover hay.

Complete threshing outfit consisting of 1-16 h.p. Russell compound engine No. 9664, 1 Port Huron Busher separator 33x54 complete with feeder, weigher and blower number 8710.

Terms -- Sums of $10 and under cash. Over that amount a credit of 9 months will be given. No property removed until settled for. Note to bear 6 per cent interest from date.
