At the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Victoria Lea, at Keosauqua, mary 23rd, 1900, at 8 o'clock in the evening. Mr. Robert R. McBeth and Miss Henrietta Lea were united in teh bonds of wedlock, the ceremony being pronounced by Rev. Chas. E. Perkins, of the Congregational Church.
On account of the illness of the groom's mother, Mrs. William McBeth, the ceremony was informal only the immediate relatives and friends being present. The groom, a talented young man, has been admitted to the bar and is now filling the officd of deputy clerk of the courts. The bride is a accomplished young lady, and like her young husband was born and reared in Keosauqua, where they are both highly esteemed and appreciated, and where they have a large circle of friends whose best wishes will ever follow them on the journey of life. They will have a suite of rooms in Mrs. Lea's house where they go to housekeeping at once.
