Mrs. Glen Gibson and children left Wednesday for Ft. Riley, Kan., to be with her husband in camp there . . . Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wire returned to their home in Burlington Wednesday after visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Wire . . . Mr. and Mrs. Chester Smith of Milton were guests of friends Wednesday afternoon . . . Mr. and Mrs. N.N. Bennett of Burlington were guests Wednesday of her brother, John Van Fleet.
