United in Marriage.

At the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Sarah Peterie, in Bonaparte, Iowa, occurred the marriage, at high noon yesterday, October 24, 1900, of her daughter, Miss Daisy E. Peterie, to Mr. Thomas H. Beard, Rev. George H. Duty, of the Bonaparte Presbyterian church, performed the ceremony in the presence of the immediate relatives of the contracting parties.

After the saying of the few words that made them one an elaborate dinner was served.

They are well and favorably known in this community and receive the best wishes of all, as they start upon the pleasant voyage of matrimony. A comfortable home has already been prepared for them, which they will immediately occupy and where there many friends will find them.

The RECORD joins the many friends in their best wishes.
