The couple arrived in Bonaparte Saturday. The ever thoughtful mother, Mrs. C. A. Troutman arranged a reception for them Saturday night, Nov. 14th, and quite a number of the citizens of our town and vicinity responded. The evening was passed with music, congratulations, etc. The company partook of an elegant repast prepared by the capable hands and brain of Mrs. Troutman. The occasion was a pleasant one and many were the wishes that the pathway of the couple might be strewn with flowers that were free from thorns.
