Aiken-Eason.
Mr. Elmer J. Aiken and Miss Clyde Eason were married at Lodi, Wisconsin, Saturday, June 13, 1908. Mr. Aiken's home is at La Crosse, Wisconsin. Miss Eason was also employed in the same hospital and it was here that the acquaintance was formed which has grown until Miss Eason is now Mrs. Aiken.
Their plans are not known to the friends and relatives here. She is a member of the Sunshine Society at Bonaparte and has many friends who wish for her many years of happiness. The Sunshiners are simply crazy to have them visit here so they can get a chance to "size up" the new brother-in-law of the society.
Mrs. Aiken is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Eason who for many years conducted a hotel at Bonaparte where McDavitt's furniture store now is. She is a sister of F. L. Eason who now resides at Madison, Wisconsin, but who is well known over southeastern Iowa as a former traveling representative of the Buck-Reiner Co. of Keokuk.
