McKee-Robinson.

At 2 o'clock p.m., Thursday, June 25th, 1914, occurred the marriage of John McKee of Birmingham, and Miss Gertrude Robinson of Bentonsport at the home of the bride's brother, Harry Robinson, in Fort Madison, the ceremony being performed by Rev. David Phillips, pastor of the First M.E. church.

Immediately following the wedding Mr. and Mrs. McKee departed for Chicago, where they will spend several days in attendance at the International Sabbath School Convention, which is in session in that city.

Both are well known in this county. The bride was born and raised in Bentonsport, where he father was one of the prominent business men years ago. She has been a prominent teacher in the county for many years and is held in high esteem by her acquaintances. The groom is well known in this community, where his entire life has been spent. In a short time they will occupy the farm owned by the groom, one and a half miles northwest of town. - Birmingham Enterprise
