Cummings Reunion

On Sunday, Sept. 6, the descendents of Alexander Cummings and his wife, Harriet Corwin Cummings, assembled at the State Park to enjoy their annual family reunion At noon the ladies spread a delicious feast in honor of their related fellowship which was greatly enjoyed by all present Several of the families belonging were unable to be present which reduced the number to twenty-eight. Non-resident relatives were Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds of Barrington, Ill. and Mr. and Mrs. Byron Cummings and daughter of Fort Madison. After dinner Mrs. Reynolds photographed the four living children of these honored pioneers, who are as follows: Mr. Robert Cummings, James Cummings and Thomas Cummings of Bonaparte and Mrs. Eliza Willets of Farmington.
