MEET THE STARS OF '42

Evelyn Hoffer, better known as "Judy" to her clasmates, has been very active in school activities at the Stockport high school. She has played leading parts in "Worrying Willie," "His First Shave," "The Big Day" and "Aunt Tillie Goes to Town." Judy was a forward on the girls basketball team for three years and a member of the girls glee club, and also of the girls quartet for four years. During her freshman and junior years she was secretary and treasurer of the class and vice president during her sophomore year. Evelyn's hobby is collecting ash trays and Coca Cola glasses of which she has made quite a profession. Judy likes to spend her spare time dancing (at Bonaparte) and listening to swing music, especially that of Glenn Miller. Among her favorites are: movie stars, Barbara Stanwyck and John Payne; food, hamburgers and potato salad, both with onion (take notice Carroll); teacher , Miss Oberg; and subjects English and typing. After graduation Judy plans to attend nurses' training at Burlington.
