Miss Mary Turner of Norfolk, Va., and Kenneth Emmet Dodds of the United States navy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dodds of Bonaparte, were married at Norfolk on April 4.
The newlyweds arrived at Bonaparte at 10:30 o'clock Saturday night, and 30 minutes later he was notified from Washington to report to Norfolk Tuesday morn. Mr. and Mrs. Dodds left Bonaparte at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Miss Hillys Dodds, sister of the groom, accompanied them on their return to the east.
Mr. Dodds has been in the navy ten years and for several months has been stationed at the air base near Norfolk.
