MORRIS-M'KEE NUPTIALS HELD AT FAIRFIELD

Stockport, Ia., April 1.-Miss Gladys Morris and Fenton McKee were married at Fairfield, March 29 at 3 o'clock by Rev. U.G. Smith of the M.E. church. A two course wedding dinner was served to the following guests Sunday at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Morris:

Mrs. George McKee of Fairfield, mother of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. Carl McKee of Belleplain, Ia., Miss Marguerite and Miss Myrtle McKee, sisters of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. Ruby Harland and son, Teddy, Mr. and Mrs. James Andrews and daughter, Betty of Milton, and Standley Gardner.

Mrs. McKee will finish her school where she has been teaching the past two years, after which they will be home to their friends in Fairfield where the groom has a position.

Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Canfield of Ottumwa visited with relatives Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Maddix and son, Donald of West Burlington visited here Sunday.

Boss Douglas who passed away at the home of his sister, Mrs. James Barger, was buried Monday at the Spencer cemetery.

Harold Morris attended the high school operetta at Hillsboro, Friday evening.

The Harmony 4, gave a program and musical at the opera house Saturday night.

Mrs. Glen Edwards entertained a few guests to a dinner at their home Sunday, a surprise on Mr. Edwards.

Mrs. Geneva Crenshaw of Mt. Pleasant is assisting with the care and housework of Mrs. Calvin Douthart who was recently operated on.

Ralph Morris and William Watson who are employed at Sigourney, Ia., on the state road, spent Sunday with home folks. Mrs. Morris and daughter, Dorothy and Mrs. Watson and son, Richard, returned with them and will make their home there for awhile.

Mrs. Emery Veatch of Keosauqua, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Brown and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Arga Brown and children were Sunday visitors at the N.A. Brown home.

Mr. and Mrs. Ora Brown and children were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Yargas in Fairfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Watson, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Davis, were in Fairfield Saturday evening. Mrs. Davis is taking treatments for sinus trouble.

Marjorie Crawford who was operated on at the hospital at Iowa City, returned home Friday evening.
