Rev. Walter Sieck left Stockport on Monday of this week for a very special vacation.
On Thursday, August 21, the pastor's marriage to Miss Ila Faye Stille, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Stille, occurred at the bride's home in Silver City. After a short wedding trip west, the Siecks' will return to Stockport on August 28 where they will be at home to friends in the Methodist parsonage.
Rev. Sieck will enter his senior year at Iowa Wesleyan college this fall as well as attend to his pastoral duties here.
The community extends congratulations to the pastor and his bride.
The Methodist ladies will hold a reception and shower in their honor in the church on the evening of September 5.
