Wells-Leffler Marriage - 1908

Wells-Leffler.

Mr. Earl Harold Wells and Miss Irene Leffler were married at the home of the bride's parents in Cedar township, Van Buern county, Iowa, on New Years Day of 1908, Rev. W. M. Cooney of Kahoka, Mo., officiating. The ceremony was at 4 P. M. and they departed at once for their new home at Cape Girardeau, Mo., where Mr. Wells is the physical director of one of the Missouri State Normal schools. Hr. Well's old home is in Wisconsin.

Mrs. Wells is a talented young lady, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Leffler. She is well educated, having had work in the Baptist college at Pella and in the Iowa State college at Ames. She was recently teacher of domestic science in the schools at Lead, S. Dakota. Both are highly respected and have the best wishes of many friends.
