Two Young People of
Farmington are Made One.WARE-VERNON.
About two weeks ago Philip Keith Ware, of the firm of Ware & Dodds, of Farmington, Iowa, went to Des Moines to take an examination in embalming in order to secure a state certificate. He had studied in Illinois and had a certificate from that state, but desired one in Iowa. This was all very well and did not arouse the suspicion of his friends:
Miss Lillian Maude Vernon, also of Farmington, has a brother in Des Moines and there she went some time ago to visit. This was all very well and no one questioned.
On Thursday the 1 o'clock train carried letters bearing the following announcement:
PHILIP KEITH WARE
LILLIAN MAUDE VERNON
MARRIED
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 4,
1903,
DES MOINES, IOWA.Mrs. Ware is a highly respected young lady of Farmington, one who will make her husband an admirable companion.
Mr. Ware is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Elias Ware, and until two years ago his home was near Bonaparte. He is now a partner in the Furniture and Undertaking establishment of Ware & Dodds, of Farmington.
Mr. and Mrs. Ware will make their home in Farmington.
