HARRISBURG WEDDING.
Young People Happily Wedded,
Receive Beautiful Presents, and are
Spared the Customary Charivari.BARKER-KECK.
A very pretty home wedding took place Wednesday, February 4, 1903, at the residence of Judson Keck, in Harrisburg township.
Mrs. Ivy B. Keck was the bewitching bride who stood at the altar by the side of Mr. Joe M. Barker, a stalwart young man of Washington township. At 6 o'clock P. M. Rev. E. R. Collier spoke the words that united these young people for time. Those who witnessed the ceremony were H. Keck, grandfather of the fried, J. Barker, the groom's father, Mr. and Mrs. L. Teal, Mr. and Mrs. John Barker, Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Barker, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Winfal, Mr. and Mrs J. F. Dodds, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Easter, Mr. and Mrs. E. Keck, F. Teal and Miss G. Barker, also several other friends.
After congratulations the guests sat down to an elegant repast which was enjoyed to the utmost. The customary charivari was overlooked by their friends.
Rarely indeed are newly married people so fortunate in receiving so many rich, handsome and useful presents as were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Barker.
Mrs. Barker is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Judson Keck of Harrisburg Twp., where she is a decided favorite among her many friends.
Mr. Barker is a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Barker of Washington Twp. and is also well and favorably known.
Their home will be on the Nurse Surley farm in Washington township.
