MEDICINE MAN MARRIES.

Wednesday, December 3, 1902, at
8 P. M., at the Methodist Parsonage.

THOMPSON-DAWSON.

The Methodist parsonage in Bonaparte was the scene of a vey pretty wedding at 8 o'clock on the evening of Wednesday, December 3. The contracting parties were Miss Sarah E. Dawson and Dr. Ira F. Thompson, both young people whose adopted home is Bonaparte. Rev. Collier spoke the words which united them as Mr. and Mrs. Thompson. Only a few relatives were present.

Mrs. Thompson is a daughter of William and Cynthia Dawson of Anson, Mo., but for five years has lived with her sister in Bonaparte and has been employed in the tailor shop. She is a young lady of studious, refined habits, a general favorite among her companions.

Ira F. Thompson is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Thompson. He is a graduate of the Bonaparte High school. While attending school he studied with Dr. Young to fit himself for the profession of a physician, and was one of the graduates of the class of 1902 of the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Keokuk Medical College. He at once located in Mr. Hamill where he has already established a flourishing practice and has many friends. Mr. Thompson has chosen for his life partner one who is in every way fitted to aid him in his chosen work. They went to Mt. Hamill Thursday, and the best wishes of their Bonaparte friends follow them.
