DR. OF MEDICINE MARRIES.
Bonaparte M. D. Decides to Take
unto Himself A Wife.PEARSON - LIPPINCOTT.
For several weeks it has been expected by the neighbors of Dr. Robt. B. Pearson that he anticipated a change in his mode of living and, the Dr. himself being very conservative concerning the subject of Matrimony, it was left for the citizens of this community to guess when the event would occur. Various prognostications were made and reports were circulated that the event had already occurred and it was time for congratulations.
Being at the county seat a few days ago a reporter of the RECORD was investigating the Marriage License books in the Clerk's office and discovered that a license to wed had been issued to Robt. B. Pearson and Lucelia W. Lippincott. Then the Pearson home was watched more closely than ever but the Dr. kept on whistling and all that could be published last week was a simple statement that the license had been issued.
Wednesday evening about 6:40 the Dr. and his bride went to the Baptist parsonage and were united for life in the bonds of wedlock.
Dr. Pearson has been a resident of Bonaparte for a number of years and has a comfortable home on Bridge St. He was once a teacher in the schools here and is a well known and respected citizen.
Mrs. Pearson is a sister of Aristides Lippincott of the Russell House, Keosauqua, and has been living on her farm south of town. She is also a cousin of Councilman, W. P. L. Muir.
The friends of Dr. and Mrs. Pearson extend congratulations and wish them years of happiness.
