GROSS - HILLS.

A very pretty wedding took place last Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hills. The bride, Miss Ella Louisa Hills is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hills, and is well known to the young people of Bonaparte, this having been her home since childhood. She is a young lady possessing many personal charms and admirable traits of character. The groom, Mr. Walter Lee Gross of Moriah, Ill., is a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Gross of that place; they are farmers, highly respected in the community in which they live, and their son is an estimable young man of unreproachable character, well worthy the lovely bride he has won.

The wedding ceremony was performed at 7 P. M., Saturday Nov. 30. The bride was charming in a soft wool gown of a delicate lilac shade, trimmed in white silk. The groom was attired in the usual black. The cut flowers and other decorations harmonized with this season of the year. Rev. J. L. Ayrault spoke the words that united the young people for life. After hearty congratulations the company adjourned to the dining room where a bountifully laden table held their attention for some time. Those present were the parents, brother and sister of the bride, Misses Laura Partlow, Allie and Emma Finn, Mr. Chas. Finn, and Rev. and Mrs. Ayrault.

Mr. and Mrs. Gross received many handsome and useful presents, among which was a complete set of china dishes, and silver knives and forks from the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Gross will remain in Bonaparte until Jan. 1, when they will go [to] a farm near Moriah, Ill., where Mr. Gross has a home prepared for his bride.
