Parson-Wolfe.
Mr. Ed. Parson and Miss Beatrice Wolfe planned quite a surprise on their friends by going to Keokuk New Year's Day where they were married at eight o'clock that evening by Rev. Nicoson of the Christan church in the presence of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Demple.
Mrs. Parson is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Wolfe and is one of Vernon Prairie's most accomplished young ladies.
Mr. Parson is a son of Mrs. Jas. Parson of Mt. Sterling and one of the substantial business men of that place. They will make their home in Mt. Sterling.
The RECORD is pleased to join with their many friends in congratulations.
[Note: year not given but position in scrapbook would suggest 1907]
