Smith-Ely

Mr. Justin Smith of Kilbourne and Miss Julia M. Ely of Utica were married at the home of the bride's parents at high noon of New Year's Day, 1907, Rev. Jones of the M. E. church, Bonaparte circuit, officiating.

It was an exceptionally pleasant affair with abundant wedding remembrances and best wishes. Only the immediate relatives were present.

Mr. Smith is a son of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Smith who now live near Kilbourne but formerly lived a short distance southeast of Utica. He is an industrious farmer and has rented the Frazee place south of Kilbourne where they will reside.

Mrs. Smith is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ely of near Utica, and is an accomplished young lady, well suited to help build a happy home. The Record extends congratulations.
