Huff-Hunter Marriage 1906

Mr. Evert Huff and Miss Jennie Hunter were married at the residence of the Rev. Mr. Carson in Keosauqua, Iowa, Wednesday, July 25. [Note: handwritten on article "06"]

Mr. Huff is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Huff of Vernon Prairie and has rented the Mrs. Jennie Henry farm near the home of his parents. In this place they will be at home after March 1, 1907.

Miss Hunter is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hunter, also of Vernon Prairie. She is a young lady of first rate appearance, well fitted to make for Mr. Huff and herself a happy home. The RECORD is a little late about it but does insist upon joining heartily in the congratulations.

Moral: - Next time make a judicious use of the wedding cake.
