Weidling-Gilmore.
Mr. G. Weidling and Miss Margaret E. Gilmore of Aledo, Ill., were married at the home of Mrs. J. A. Johnson, a cousin of the bride, Wednesday afternoon at four o'clock, Rev. Jas. Clark of the Bonaparte Presbyterian church officiating.
Miss Johnson played the wedding march while Mr. Weidling and his happy bride came unattended.
Miss Gilmore had been a guest at the Johnson home for a few days. Mr. Weidling came Wednesday morning, and Mr. and Mrs. Weidling after the ceremony were honored guests at a sumptuous repast, after which they departed for Burlington. They will make a two months honeymoon visit in Colorado.
Miss Gilmore has frequently visited in Bonaparte with her mother, now deceased, and is quite well known here. This is Mr. Weidling's first visit to Bonaparte. He has been in the clothing business in Aledo but has recently sold his store, and is engaged in the real estate business at present.
