. . a most successful teacher and a lady whom Mr. Proper may well be proud to introduce to his friends in the county seat of Louisa county.

Mr. Proper is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Proper of Harrisburg township. He was graduated from the Bonaparte high school, took two years in the Iowa State College at Ames, and graduated from the Chicago Veterinary College.

Mr. and Mrs. Proper have many friends here who wish them abundant prosperity and happiness, in which the RECORD takes much pleasure in joining.
