Burnett-Matlock.
On last Wednesday, Nov. 16, 1904, at 2 P. M. at the home of the bride's mother occurred the wedding of Mr. Robert Burnett and Miss Anna Matlock. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Longson of Farmington.
Mr. John Matlock, brother of the bride, acted as best man and Miss Tina Matlock was bridesmaid. Miss Nettie Matlock played the wedding march. The bride carried bride's roses and her gown was of white china silk and valenciennes lace.
After the ceremony a lap supper was enjoyed, Miss Myrtle Baber assisting the Misses Matlock in serving. Mr. and Mrs. Burnett departed on the evening train for St. Louis to attend the exposition.
The presents were very beautiful and numerous. Among those present were Mrs. M. E. Matlock, Mr and Mrs. Noah Ward, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Wolfe, Mr. and Mrs Geo. Sprankle, Mrs. and Mrs. Geo. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Cal Ward, Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Burnett, Mrs. J. G. Whiteley, Misses Hattie Gaas, Nellie and Clara Brown, Tina and Nettie Matlock, Margaret Cassidy, Daisy Kerr, Mabel and Myrtle Guess, Myrtle Baber, and Messrs. John Holmes, John, Chas., and Steve Matlock, and B. R. Ford of Colorado Springs.
