Follow the link below to a photograph and short article regarding Van Buren County's Octogenarian Pioneers from a meeting in 1907. A photograph was taken of the group but names were not collected. The article is asking for help in identifying those currently not identified. This newspaper clipping was found in some boxes of old photos and letters from my great Aunt Trilla Myers Cass. Her grandfather, Lewis Myers and great grandfather Jacob Myers migrated from Ohio to near Bonaparte in the late 1830's.
